The fishmonger’s beautiful daughter
Loved to play in the park
From sun-up to dark
She would slide down the slide
And in the tall grass hide
She would swing on the swing
And from her sandcastle sing
Then at the end of the day
When she was all played-out of play
Covered in dirt
From her head to her skirt
She would run to the tub
And scrub a dub dub
Then, Veronica Alexandria Slaughter
Would take a big drink of the water
