To Once For All Redeem

Into the woods we carry the hope stacked on our backs
Left behind by restless legions who never made it back
The burden of failure, the distress of broken dreams
The inherited responsibility to once for all redeem

With statues and monuments they covered a multitude of sin
With our generation we'll make the same mistakes again
We'll pass along guilt and shame, the same old regime
The inherited responsibility to once for all redeem

The sins of the fathers are answered on our head
What legacy of loss will we leave when we're dead
We'll thrust upon them the hollow promise of esteem
The inherited responsibility to once for all redeem
