The car heads out of the drive as the radio plays

The B-52’s singing “Roam”

Yep, that’s right, the Halls are leaving home.

It’s not that we wanted to go

But for some offers you just can’t say no.

So this is good-bye to family and friends

But not really ‘cause friendship is a road that never ends.

And this road travels North on 75

Come on now, it’s only a 3 ½ hour drive.

It’ll be easy to find us when you get into town

Just follow the signs that say “Don’t turn around!”

And we’ll be back frequently to the Big D

‘Cause we couldn’t stand it if our family and friends we couldn’t see.
